I wish I would have discovered this sooner. It’s funny, because I actually got this as a gift and just had it in the closet. For some reason I thought my baby had to be older to get into this thing. I believe he was around 5 months old when he got in there.
This thing is a lifesaver. It gives your baby something else to occupy themselves with while you can sit back, relax and watch.
When I first placed my baby in here, he didn’t know what to do. He just sat in there and played with the toys around him. Then, little by little he started realizing that this thing moved up and down. In a few days, he was seriously jumping uncontrollably! The best thing is seeing your little one in here just starting to jump out of control and smiling. It’s pretty sweet!
Not only is it fun for your baby, but it’s good for you as well, because you get “some” time to yourself.
WHEN CAN I PUT MY BABY IN HERE?
You definitely want to make sure your baby has some head control. Or else, their little head will be bouncing around like a bobble head. You definitely don’t want that.
SETTING THE JUMPEROO UP
It wasn’t too difficult to get this thing up and going. I would say it probably takes 20 minutes. The stands are a little weird to put together because of their shape and they just snap together.
THE SEAT
Make sure you put the seat cover like it is in the picture. When putting it together, you will want to put it on backwards, but it isn’t meant to go that way.
The seat actually rotates 360 degrees which is great, because it allows your little one to play with all the cool little gadgets they have in front.
The other great thing, is that this seat has 3 levels. This means, the taller the baby gets, it will adjust so you can have this for a while.
COMPARING THIS TO THE JUMPEROO YOU PUT ON THE DOOR FRAME
So I have one of those as well and I used it. This one is WAY better. The one’s you put on the frames just don’t seem that secure to me. I could be wrong, but this one just seems safer and more secure than having my baby bounced on jumperoo attached to a frame. I used the other one once and now it’s in the closet. It doesn’t even compare to this one.
DOWNSIDE
The one downside is that this thing is big and it can take up a lot of space. If you don’t have much space, then this could be a concern of yours.
Also, it’s not that easy to move to another room. It doesn’t come apart easily, so you have to leave it as is.
But other than that, I highly recommend!
